POST-ELECTION SEMINAR for the Parliament of Lesotho

The Post-Election Seminar was officially opened by the Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Sephiri Motanyane. The Resource Team for the Seminar consisted of: The CPA Secretary-General Dr William F. Lindiwe Maseko, MPL, Speaker, Gauteng Provincial Legislature, South Africa; Mr Ian Lucas MP, Shadow Minister for Africa and the Middle East, United Kingdom; Ms Jacqy Sharpe, Clerk of Legislation, House of Commons, United Kingdom; Ms Karen MacKenzie, Acting Head of the Human Rights Unit, Commonwealth Secretariat; Dr Rasheed Draman, Director, Africa Programmes, Parliamentary Centre Ghana Office; Advocate Hoolo Nyane, UNDP and Former Executive Director, Transformation Resource; Prof. Francis Makoa, Consultant and Retired Professor of Political Science, National University of Lesotho; and Mr. Tsebo Mats'asa, Executive Director, Media Institute of Southern Africa, Lesotho Chapter.

The Hon. Letapata Makhaola, President of the Senate, held the closing speech of the Seminar on 19 of September.
