CPA and SOCATT Africa Region Professional Development Seminar takes place in Accra, Ghana

The Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) Africa Region and the Society of Clerks-at-the-Table (SOCATT) Africa Region have held the 2016 SOCATT Africa Region Professional Development Seminar in Accra, Ghana, hosted by the Parliament of Ghana.

The theme of the seminar was ‘Towards realizing the Africa Agenda 2063 and the SDGs: The Role of Parliamentary Administration.’

The seminar was officially opened by Rt Hon. Edward K. Doe Adjaho, Speaker of the Parliament of Ghana with addresses by Adv. M. E. Phindela, Secretary to the National Council of Provinces, RSA, Chairperson of SoCATT Africa Region; Mr. Emmanuel Anyimadu, Clerk of the Parliament of Ghana; and Mr Joe Omorodion, Director of Finance and Administration from the CPA Secretariat representing the Secretary-General of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA).
