Commonwealth Women Parliamentarians (CWP) in video

Commonwealth Women Parliamentarians (CWP) marked International Women’s Day 2018 by highlighting gender equality and increasing women’s representation in Parliaments. To mark the occasion, the CWP have launched a new video in which the CWP Chairperson and women Parliamentarians from across the Commonwealth speak about the CWP’s work in gender equality and their own experiences of being in Parliament. The video also highlights the importance of reaching the Commonwealth target of 30% female representation in Commonwealth legislatures and the vital role of networks such as the CWP to achieve change.
