42nd CPA Small Branches Conference at 69th CPC
The 42nd CPA Small Branches Conference will bring together Members of Parliament from the smallest jurisdictions in the Commonwealth to discuss issues relevant to their Legislatures in a series of workshops and governance meetings.
The Conference will follow the meeting of the Steering Committee of the CPA Small Branches network and consists of:
- Four learning and development workshops for Members of Parliament in small jurisdictions
- A Business Meeting of the CPA Small Branches network
The main theme of the 42nd CPA Small Branches Conference is: 'Supporting Independent and Resilient Parliaments in the Commonwealth'.
The 42nd CPA Small Branches Conference will take place from 14 to 15 September 2026 in the margins of the 69th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference in South Africa (13 to 18 September 2026).

- SB Workshop 1: The Importance of Separation of Powers in Small Jurisdictions.
- SB Workshop 2: Supporting Parliamentary Budget Offices.
- SB Workshop 3: Parliament’s Role in Disaster Risk Financing.
- SB Workshop 4: Delivering Inclusivity Measures in Capacity-Strained Parliaments. (Joint CPA Small Branches, Commonwealth Parliamentarians with Disabilities (CPwD) and Commonwealth Women Parliamentarians (CWP) workshop)
