Recent activities
  • The CPA Cayman Islands Branch hosts an annual Cayman Islands Youth Parliament in celebration of Commonwealth Day each year.
  • In October 2023, the Parliament of the Cayman Islands conducted a self-assessment against the CPA Recommended Benchmarks for Democratic Legislatures, supported by the CPA Headquarters and the Legislative Assembly of Alberta/CPA Alberta Branch. Click here to read the Facebook post.
  • In 2021, newly elected Members of the Parliament of the Cayman Islands participated in a CPA Virtual Post-Election Seminar which resulted in a number of key outcomes including: participation from MPs including both new and returning Members, Government and Opposition Members, and the Speaker and the Premier; and contributions from eleven CPA Branches across the Commonwealth including Antigua and Barbuda, Jersey, Canada, Trinidad and Tobago, and the United Kingdom.
