Event Overview

Commonwealth Parliamentarians with Disabilities (CPwD) Colloquium 2026

Dates: 26 to 28 May 2026

Location: Western Cape, South Africa

Recognising the need to increase representation of persons with disabilities in political institutions, the Commonwealth Parliamentarians with Disabilities (CPwD) network has been established to facilitate activities and programmes to champion and increase the representation of persons with disabilities and to work towards the mainstreaming of disability considerations in Commonwealth Parliaments, and across all CPA activities and programmes.

The Commonwealth Parliamentarians with Disabilities (CPwD) Colloquium 2026 is our first Pan-Commonwealth CPwD event held since 2017 and will focus on a key area of our work.

This CPwD event is being hosted in partnership with the Provincial Parliament of Western Cape
