Invitation and Nomination Criteria: 2024 Advanced Residency Programme for Leadership in Parliament

The Parliament of Sri Lanka will host the first CPA Parliamentary Academy Advanced Residency Programme for Leadership in Parliament in June 2024. This course is for parliamentary clerks and officials and is intended to complement the online courses with the CPA Parliamentary Academy. Please refer to the invitation letter attached for more information on the application process, selection criteria, provisional programme, participation cost and participant withdrawal.

Nomination Process
  • To apply for a place on the Residency Programme, please complete this form and submit it to the CPA Headquarters Secretariat by no later than Friday 29 MARCH 2024. Due to a high demand for limited places, any applications received after the stated deadline may be held as a reserve.
  • Should Clerks or officials enquire directly with the CPA Secretariat for places, they will be instructed to formally apply through their respective Branch Secretary.
  • Once the Nomination Form has been received and reviewed, Branch Secretaries will be issued with a notification of the places which have been accepted. Branch Secretaries will be issued with a link for the online form.
  • Applicants/Branch Secretaries will then be asked to complete the registration by completing the Event Registration Form which will include travel itineraries and biographical information by Friday 26 April 2024.

Please tell us when the nominee was first appointed to their current role and how long they have been working in the parliamentary service.
This answer will assist the CPA Headquarters in determining whether to short list this nominee over others.
