Overview
The 68th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference (CPC) will be hosted by the Parliament of Barbados and the CPA Barbados Branch in Bridgetown, Barbados from 5 to 12 October 2025.
The 68th CPC will be held under the main theme of 'The Commonwealth: A Global Partner'.
During the 68th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference, there will also be a number of additional conferences and meetings including:
- CPA General Assembly and general debate
- meetings of the CPA Executive Committee
- CPC Workshops
- 41st CPA Small Branches Conference
- 9th Commonwealth Women Parliamentarians (CWP) Conference
- meetings of the Commonwealth Parliamentarians with Disabilities (CPwD) network
- 59th Society of Clerks at the Table (SoCATT) meeting
- presentation of the 2025 Commonwealth Parliamentarian of the Year awards
- the 3rd Emilia Monjowa Lifaka Lecture.

Invitations, Nominations and Registration
- Invitations to the 68th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference have been issued to all eligible CPA Branches from the CPA President on behalf of the host Branch, CPA Barbados. Please email cpc@cpahq.org if your CPA Branch has not received your invitation.
- Nominations have now closed and Registrations for the 68th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference will close on 12 September 2025 in advance of the Conference.

Barbados CPC Supplement to The Parliamentarian
Ahead of the 68th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference (CPC), this special Barbados supplement features articles by local political experts and young people on a diverse range of topics including parliamentary democracy in the island nation as well as encouraging more women into political life, the early development of the Barbados Parliament, promoting equal opportunities for the deaf community and transitioning from a monarchy to a republic.
- The supplement also features a profile of the Prime Minister of Barbados, Hon. Mia Mottley and a youth view of the ‘Commonwealth at 75’ from Barbados.
- The 68th CPC Barbados supplement also examines extracts from the CPA Archives about the discussions at 35th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference which was held in Barbados in 1989.
