Overview

The 68th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference (CPC) will be hosted by the Parliament of Barbados and the CPA Barbados Branch in Bridgetown, Barbados from 5 to 12 October 2025. 

The 68th CPC will be held under the main theme of 'The Commonwealth: A Global Partner'.  

During the 68th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference, there will also be a number of additional conferences and meetings including:

Invitations, Nominations and Registration 

  • Invitations to the 68th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference will be issued to all eligible CPA Branches from the CPA President on behalf of the host Branch, CPA Barbados. Please email cpc@cpahq.org if your CPA Branch has not received your invitation.
  • Nominations for the 68th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference will open when invitations have been issued. Please click here for details of nominations and a link to the nomination form.    
  • Registrations for the 68th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference will follow shortly afterwards and in advance of the Conference, all active CPA Branches will be invited to register their delegates for the Conference.

The Conference Concluding Statement for the 67th CPC contains:

- the main outcomes and events of the conference including the 2024 General Assembly, the CPA Executive Committee and Network Steering Committees

- a summary of the CPC, CPA Small Branches and Commonwealth Women Parliamentarians (CWP) workshop discussions 

- the recommendations that were either endorsed or noted by the Members in attendance

- news about the Commonwealth Parliamentarians with Disabilities (CPwD) Outreach event, the Second Lifaka Lecture on human rights and the 2024 Parliamentarian of the Year Awards.
