About the CWP Regional Strengthening Fund
The CWP Regional Strengthening Funds are annual grants made available to each of the CPA’s nine Regions to advance the CWP’s mission to ‘promote the representation of women in CPA Branches and women's full and equal participation in political and parliamentary leadership at all levels.'
Each CPA Region can bid for £10,000 to provide assistance in their efforts to undertake projects and events which align with the CWP's mission.
Who can apply?
- CWP International Steering Committee Members on behalf of their respective Regions
- CPA Branches via their Regional Secretary
How to apply
Applications for the CWP Regional Strengthening Funds must be submitted by a CPA Regional Secretary on behalf of the Region and sponsored by the Region's Representative on the CWP International Steering Committee.
Any CPA Branch seeking to apply for the 2024 Regional Strengthening Funds must submit their proposal to their respective Regional Secretary for onward communication to the CWP Coordinator.
Regions will have until Monday 1 April 2024 to submit proposals and a draft budget to the CWP Coordinator on the project or activity the Region intends to deliver.
It should be noted that, though tasks involved in a project may go into 2025, all funds supported by the Regional Strengthening Funds must be spent by 31 December 2024.
